President Thomas S. Monson - Finding Joy in the Journey
If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly. Stresses in our lives come regardless of our circumstances. We must deal with them the best we can. But we should not let them get in the way of what is most important—and what is most important almost always involves the people around us. Often we assume that they must know how much we love them. But we should never assume; we should let them know. Wrote William Shakespeare, “They do not love that do not show their love.”3 We will never regret the kind words spoken or the affection shown. Rather, our regrets will come if such things are omitted from our relationships with those who mean the most to us. Send that note to the friend you’ve been neglecting; give your child a hug; give your parents a hug; say “I love you” more; always express your thanks. Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved. Friends move away, children grow up, loved ones pass on. It’s so easy to take others for granted, until that day when they’re gone from our lives and we are left with feelings of “what if” and “if only.” Said author Harriet Beecher Stowe, “The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.”4

Sister and Brother Love
Our kitty Neela races me to the bedroom to get her belly rubbed. This a routine thing for her and she will softly make a noise until she gets her belly rubbed. It's quite funny.

Monique, yes I got this off of your blog, but I really like it. I am trying to do just this. Thank you.
I love the quote that you put up. I am sorry things are not going very well with the 4 plex. Our friends the Rick's still own there 4 plex and have hired a management service that I believe they like. I will ask them what company it is and you can check them out if you want to switch. No, we don't plan on having any more children. 2 Girls and 2 boys is enough for me. I can hardly keep up with everything as it is. I love how your blog looks. I have just recently started mine, and all I have figured out how to do is put pictures on and do a post. Maybe someday I will have more time to figure it out, but for now that will have to be good enough. Later!

Hey that's ok!!! I love this talk!!!
I read this the first day that you put it up, but I was in too bad of a mood. Today I am doing better and need to tell you thank you for putting those words of wisdom up for us to read. I needed those that day. It looks like you guys are doing well! What's going on with your apartments? I was just being nosy and reading some of the other comments. I guess Astrid is leaving for Texas in February. I don't see her since the wards split.
