What a great year 2008 was! Many sad and happy things happened. Leaving our Alaska friends was very hard (we miss you all). The trip to Alabama was exciting driving the Alaska Highway with a loaded truck. We visited family in Utah and we made it to Alabama in one piece. It was wonderful family time. Then getting Brian off to Greece was the saddest. We had fun visiting him in Greece. Living at my parents' house has been somewhat of a challenge, but also rewarding. Carter has learned so much being around my dad and Katrina has enjoyed having her own room. I enjoy the space, because when I want to get away, I just find a room and hide. The house is about 5000 sqft and you really can get lost. The kids think it is a wonderful place for hide and seek. It's been wonderful being around family, but sad that Brian is not here. He was able to come for Christmas and is still here until next Tuesday then the saddness will begin again. Then we'll have four more months to go. YES!! School has been good for the kids, they are making straight A's. We've enjoyed all the blessings of 2008 and hope that 2009 will be just as great. Of course we are going to do much better at sharing the Gospel with others. The best way to end 2008 was Katrina getting Baptized. It was so great. I will post pictures as soon as my computer gets fixed. I'm using my mom's. Anyway she was the happiest girl ever that day. Katrina is such a wonderful blessing. She is such a sweet spirited girl and really has such love for Jesus Christ. I am so amazed at how much she understands. Well this concludes 2008.

Sister and Brother Love

Our kitty Neela races me to the bedroom to get her belly rubbed. This a routine thing for her and she will softly make a noise until she gets her belly rubbed. It's quite funny.
