Fall and Halloween Memories
I love this time of year when the leaves are changing into beautiful colors of orange, red, and yellow. I love the coolness and being able to turn off the A/C and open the windows to feel the cool breeze of the fall weather. This is the most perfect weather. I love the anticipation and excitement of Halloween and candy(not my favorite part) for my children. The wonderful aroma of pumpkin spices. The houses beingdecorated with beautiful fall colors for the upcoming season and getting all spooky for Halloween. The birds are chirping outside, a pleasant sound that I love to hear. It's just so peaceful. Halloween is fun too because you can dress up and make up your own costume. I always enjoyed making up my own costume when I was growing up. One memorable costume was something my friend and I did we wore trash bags. We were white trash. I know that was pretty silly but it was creative for 7th graders. My parents' never bought our costumes so we had to come up with something. Another time was another friend and I dressed up as porcelain dolls. Her mom had some old dresses and we made our faces look like porcelain. It was fun. I was a senior in high school then. We wanted to make our senior year fun and memorable. I would love to hear what everyone loves about the fall and their most memorable Halloween. Please share IF YOU DARE!!

Sister and Brother Love
Our kitty Neela races me to the bedroom to get her belly rubbed. This a routine thing for her and she will softly make a noise until she gets her belly rubbed. It's quite funny.

when we were little of course we would always have a halloween party down at granny's house. You know when we all would get together there would be tons of people and lots of candy to go around. I love the fall!! We miss you guys!!! Cameron found a picture of him and carter when they went camping he said look mom it is me and my best friend!! So sweet. I hope they stay friends forever like us!!!
I remember when you all did that. It sounded like so much fun. We miss you too. That is sweet of Cameron. I'm sure they will remain friends. Carter will always have a buddy when we come to AL.
I love the leaves changing in the fall. Growing up we didn't do Halloween because my mom didn't like it so now I make sure my kids get to dress up if they want and carve pumpkins. we loved visiting the pumpkin patch in Germany and I think when we were driving yesterday we saw a sign for one here! So we'll have to check it out.
I definitly want to take the kids to the pumpkin patch here and do the corn maze.
=) I remember our halloween as dolls too! After college one year I dressed up for a party with some other friends - we were Disney villians - I was cruella de vill... Painted face, wig, clothes and I altered my voice... it was hilarious - people didn't even know it was me... and sadly my evil laugh scared a friend =)
Let's see - fall - I love the cooler weather, the change in the trees... cookouts, spiced hot drinks that are fallish, fall foods like pumpkin pie, etc... mostly it is the cooler weather and that I get to wear jeans! =)
