Thanksgiving News

We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent the day with the Storms Family, Tripple Family, and Robbins Family. It was a wonderful day. We ate lots of good food and played Catch Phrase and Pit. The girls put on a dance for us. Wow what moves they have. Especially the youngest. She was quite the entertainer. The boys stayed outside on the trampoline. We did not want to disturb them. There is just so much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I enjoy being around our friends. Since we've been in the military I think we have spent every Thanksgiving with friends except for last year when Brian was in Greece. The kids and I actually got to enjoy it with family.
Brian and I also found out there will be a new addition to our family which is exciting and scary at the same time. Exciting because I can a little one again, but scary because it's been 7 years. I hope those motherly instincts haven't gone away. We were going to wait until Christmas to tell family, but just couldn't hold it in. To me it helps to say it out loud because then I actaully feel that I am not dreaming. Although the sickness tells me it is not a dream. I just feel queezy throughout the day and get headaches a lot. The kids are pretty excited. Katrina's already been making lists of names. I will have my first actual doc appointment next Friday for the fun stuff. We don't go on base we see ob/gyns off base. There are about four or more ladies in our Ward pregnant and there must be a lot at this base because prenatals are on backorder. Brian and I have been contemplating about having another child for a long time. It's something I've struggled with personally and have praying about, but I just decided to leave it in the Lord's hands. He obviously thinks I am ready. I guess this is just the answer I have been waiting for. It will be nice to have a baby around. Lets just hope this baby will be a happy one. Hope everyone had a wonderul Thanksgiving.

I am so excited for you. Babies are a lot of work, but I know your motherly instincts about babies will come right back to you. You did not mention when your due date was, but I am guessing it is in the summer (good luck with that part).

Amanda thank you I will look into that.
April, thank you and the before post we didn't even no we were expecting yet. Guess he new something we didn't. You have aMerry Christmas to. I will need your new address.
Jennifer, it is exciting and yes back to diapers and spit up and all that wonderful stuff that comes with babies. Yes it is in the summer. I am not looking forward to being in the humid weather being pregnant. You bet we will be at a pool everyday. I will post my actual due date when I get it officially. It seems that July is my month. It is funny because every new base we have been too I have been pregnant.
Susan, thank you. Katrina and I were figuring the age she and Carter will be when the baby is a certain age. It is crazy. If Katrina decides to go on a mission, she and Carter will go at the same time and the baby will then be 11. Well hopefully it will keep me young. I do remember watching Hayden with those girls and I just loved how sweet he was to them and patient at least where I saw him. I'm sure you have a different story to tell. I hope mine are that way.

Yea!! Congratulations! It sounds like our babies will be close in age, too bad we don't live closer to each other. I am trying very hard to "enjoy" the sickness and hope you are doing the same.

Congratulations! I agree with Susan, although mine aren't quite as spread out as yours, but just think of it as a times to cherish just one baby and not have to stress about having more than one little one. And you'll have two GREAT helpers!

Our kitty Neela races me to the bedroom to get her belly rubbed. This a routine thing for her and she will softly make a noise until she gets her belly rubbed. It's quite funny.
